Vitamin D
Also known as the sunshine vitamin, vitamin D is at the top of the list for deficiencies in people due to the lack of availability and exposure to sunlight. This fat soluble vitamin can be readily absorbed by pairing a healthy fat with food sources containing it. There are very few food sources that contain the vitamin therefore it is beneficial at times to consider a supplement containing it or get that extra 15-20 minutes a day in the sun each day.
