Commit Yourself to Reaching Your Goals

Commitment is what it takes to really reach a goal whether it be in your workplace or working out. Everyone has their own way of staying committed to something.

There are a couple of ways to do it:

  1. Give yourself credit no matter what it is
  2. Set a goal
  3. Make it achievable
  4. Track your progress

First and foremost you need to give yourself credit that you deserve even if you feel like you haven’t done your best you are still trying!

Second, the best way to really stay on track with something is to have a goal set. This could be work related or workout related. It doesn’t even have to be a huge goal this can be something small that you can start with and then go from there.

Make the goal achievable and relatable to you and what you are trying to achieve. Again once you hit that first one the sky is the limit to the rest of them. Make each goal build off the other.

One of the most important ways to keep yourself committed is to track the progress of it. You can’t lead yourself if there is no way to know what you’ve accomplished or achieved. One of my favorite ways to track my goals and achievements is with a commit 30 planner. I have both the regular one for my daily schedule and getting things done and then I also have the fitness one to help keep myself accountable when it comes to my own fitness and nutrition goals.
