Good Morning all! I hope everyone is having a great start to their new year of 2017! I am starting a blog to help each one of you stay on track with a healthy lifestyle and way of living. I hope to touch all of your lives in a way to help encourage you to feel great and confident in everything you do. I will be posting recipes, tips, videos, items that I like to suggest, my reads, and many more.
I want to begin with how my mission for the way that I teach nutrition and fitness. This mission is the appreciation of a natural balance. Wellness is rooted in the appreciation of balance in our lives. With balance we can continue our day with a feeling of well being and savoring each moment of our lives.
With this said I believe that what we put into our bodies and minds correlates with what we get out of them. Therefore we all may indulge in things at some point but we should look at them more as a different kind of energy rather than we have failed. If we find balance in these indulgences to be used as energy for activities and to incorporate this into a healthy lifestyle.
I find that making nutrition fun and enjoyable will then relieve that sense of stress when being on a “diet”. I don’t like to use the word “diet” , I like to say a healthy lifestyle. When choosing a healthy lifestyle this then shows you a way to be healthy but also enjoy it and not dread counting every calorie or macronutrient.
My plan is to show you all recipes that can mock foods that you may love and really enjoy that are nutrient filled without losing great flavor and enjoyment. These recipes with range anywhere from snacks, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, desserts, to condiments and many more.
