I have a lot of people ask me what is the best protein powder to use after my workout. I always say there isn’t just one that is perfect. There are several that can be useful depending on what you are looking for.
I have listed below some of my favorites and what they offer for you to easily click the links to find the one that best suits you.
Whey proteins: these may contain dairy but are a great source of protein with a variety of amino acids that our muscles need for recovery.
Pea Proteins: these are great for recovery after a workout and great for those that are vegan or lactose intolerant. A plant based protein that will still serve your body the purpose it needs for the muscles to recovery after a grueling workout.
Plant Based Protein Mixes: these have a mix of hemp, pumpkin, and pea protein to provide even more variety of amino acids that our body needs for full recovery.
Collagen: this is great from adding protein not only to your smoothies or shakes but also to coffees, teas, or juices you name it. It comes unflavored so its easy to add to just about anything. It also reaps many benefits including gut health, healthy hair, skin, and nails.
Individual already mixed Proteins: These are the kind you will find in the refrigerator section that you can just grab and go!
